The Blur of my Existence

I created this painting during a very transitionary period in my life. So whether consciously or unconsciously, this painting's creation was influenced by the emotional state I had been in. It was a time of frustration, of trying to escape the boundaries that had been created around me. The juxtaposition of the hard, defined stripes with the blurry mess from within is an illustration of the battle between my mind and my goals with how my life was actually progressing.
